The Merchants of Colegate me and my partner recently dined there on a friday night. disappointing - only 2 other tables of 2 and a larger table of 8, i was really surprised to see the place so dead. despite the few tables in, the staff seemed really flustered but were friendly when they did check on us. the food was ok, not as good as i'd have expected and the atmosphere was seriously lacking. only average.

Thai on the River Restaurant has a very pleasant and friendly atmoshere. Serves a wide range of lovely tasty dishes. Excellent evening was had by all.
Highly recommended.
The Merchants of Colegate Just a short note to say thank you to the team at Merchants of Colegate for a wonderful evening, the food, wine & service were all fine. It was nice to see a large varity of dishes on offer at different price levels. Definitely will be back!
